Social emotional learning (SEL) skills are the key components of the 21st century education that lead to higher academic, social and personal achievements of students. They support students, teachers and families to cooperate successfully to reach win-win position both in classroom and outside. It is recognized that language classes and language teachers are first-rate mediums for developing students’ SEL skills through authentic materials and activities. However, there is little research on SEL awareness of language teachers and implementation of SEL skills in teaching learning process in Uzbekistan. The study involved 16 EFL teachers through an online survey to collect quantitative data about SEL awareness of EFL teachers. This study aims to contribute
to the development of SEL focused teacher training curriculum to be implemented in professional development institutions through both pre-service and in-service trainings.

Молодые учителя, в том числе учителя физкультуры, в условиях новой геополитической реальности являются тем стратегическим ресурсом, который должен стать основным в формировании новой парадигмы образования в Узбекистане. Цель исследования - оценить процесс адаптации молодых учителей физкультуры Екатеринбурга, выявить основные причины трудностей вхождения в профессию и перехода на следующий этап профессионального развития. Статья написана на основе проведенного авторами в мае 2023 г. исследования молодых педагогов – учителей физической культуры, стаж которых не превышает пяти лет. Всего было опрошено 20 учителей екатеринбургских школ.
Под социально-профессиональной адаптацией понимают «процесс взаимодействия личности и профессиональной среды, в ходе которого осуществляется развитие целей, ценностей, норм профессиональной деятельности, за счет сочетания внешних и внутренних факторов, обеспечивающих оптимальное функционирование и развитие личности в профессии».
This article discusses the importance of equipping preschool education teachers with the necessary professional knowledge and skills to provide high-quality education to young children. It explores how innovative educational technologies, such as educational software, multimedia resources, and mobile applications, can be used to improve the teaching and learning experience in preschool education. The article also emphasizes the significance of online courses, webinars, and seminars in enhancing teachers’ understanding of best practices in preschool education, child development, and teaching methodologies. Furthermore, it highlights the importance of effective communication and collaboration among preschool education teachers using multimedia tools such as videoconferencing and instant messaging applications. The article concludes that innovative educational technologies have significant potential for improving the quality of education and instruction provided by preschool education teachers.
Цель этой статьи - исследовать, насколько игры полезны и эффективны на курсах EFL. В этом исследовании были использованы два типа методик качественного исследования: полуструктурированные интервью и наблюдение. Основываясь на результатах, было установлено, что игры следует использовать в классах для изучения второго языка, чтобы создать для учащихся EFL среду, которая была бы развлекательной, мотивирующей и способствовала отличной успеваемости.
Knowing the class of students is an important part of the teacher's work since it makes it easier to understand when and how to intervene in the class learning process. In this regard, technology has much to contribute. This scientific research article aims to explore various approaches to teaching listening comprehension specifically tailored for English as a Foreign language (EFL) students. It examines listening comprehension skill, their function in the development of communicative competence, and approaches to teaching listening proposed by foreign researchers, top-down and bottom-up strategies. It helps to improve listening skill of EFL students of university and examines the effectiveness of the approaches in the teaching of listening by observing students’ listening in the classroom.

The purpose of this article is to find out how upper secondary English teachers should work in order to reach the weaker students. I am interested in what has been written about mixed-ability classes, the challenges they present and most of all how teachers of English need to work in such classes to reach all students, especially the weaker ones. What is a mixed-ability class? Mixed ability classes mean classes where students differ greatly in ability, motivation for learning English, needs, interests, educational background, styles of learning, anxiety, experiences and so on.
